Ras Al Khaimah housing initiative for Emiratis

The Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, Mubarak Ali Al Shamsi, who is also the President of the Saud Housing Programme and one of the board members of the Zayed Housing Programme in Ras Al Khaimah, said families in Ras Al Khaimah with old houses should register with housing programmes in the emirate in order to get new houses.

Al Shamsi noted that so far about 8,000 Emiratis in Ras Al Khaimah had applied to both the Zayed Housing Foundation and the Saud Housing Programme, of which 6,000 had already been given possession of new houses.

Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah has also promised to meet the housing needs of the residents and the government has allocated land for building property for nationals.
