The World Economic Forum has named Dubai as the permanent headquarters for the annual Summit on the Global Agenda after the successful conclusion of the inaugural summit in Dubai which produced conclusive recommendations, observations and comments on key global issues. The three-day summit in Dubai, organized by the Government of Dubai and the World Economic Forum, saw over 700 knowledge thought leaders from 70 working councils in eight clusters coming together to address pressing global challenges. Nabil Alyousuf, Executive President of the Dubai School of Government and Chairman of the Summit’s Organizing Committee said: ‘Dubai has long since proven its competency in organizing international conferences and summits by virtue of its location, expertise and facilities. However, these were not the only decisive factors when choosing a site for the summit. Over the past couple of decades, Dubai has fully integrated itself with the global economy and has demonstrated to the world how much of a key player it has become. Choosing Dubai as the Summit’s permanent home firmly validates Dubai’s capabilities.’Dubai Investment Property Dubai Property News
