By Air

The Bodrum peninsular is served by Bodrum Airport (BJV), situated 35 km and about half an hour’s drive away from Bodrum. Easily accessible, several airlines operate charter and scheduled flights to Bodrum Airport throughout the year. Alternatively, there are also Dalaman and Izmir Airports from where transfer time to Bodrum is approximately 3 hours.

By Bus

he dolmuş (minibus) is the cheapest way to get around with routes to local villages and small towns. Fares are paid during the journey to the driver and will differ depending upon the company providing the service. For travel beyond Bodrum, there are several intercity bus services offering services to destinations throughout Turkey.

By Road

Turkish taxis are metered and offer a cheap and convenient way of getting around. Alternatively, there are several car hire companies available with some also renting out motorcycles and bicycles.

By Boat

Daily boat tours can be taken from most local towns and villages including Güllük, Bodrum and Torba offering the perfect opportunity to explore the Bodrum peninsular. Venture further afield and visit the Greek islands on the Bodrum Express Ferryboat which operates year round services to Kos and Rhodes.
