Overseas property exhibition A Place in the Sun Live 2010 exceeded all expectations, with increased visitor numbers signalling renewed interest in the overseas property market amongst UK buyers according to industry experts.

The event, held at Earls Court 26th-28th March attracted 8% more visitors than last year but more significiantly, the buying appetite of the visitors was deemed to have returned with many exhibitors reporting sales at the show itself.

Select Property attended the show and received particular interest in their Turkey offering with complete properties in the high quality Horizon Sky beach resort representing excellent value for money.

Select Property have also recently added Egypt to their property portfolio. Royal Beach and Paradise Gardens, two stunning resorts on Egypt’s Red Sea coast attracted much attention at the show given the low price, fantastic location and secure rental guarantees.

According to industry portal, Global Edge, the show was deemed a success on the whole by exhibitors. Andy Bridge, Managing Director of A Place In The Sun stated: “it felt like buyers were much more committed than this time last year. People have been putting off purchases [because of the uncertain economy] and are now in a position to move”.
