Jet2 launch new flights to Hurghada
Low cost airline Jet2.com has announced a new route to Egypt and is to commence flights from Manchester to Hurghada, the Red Sea hotspot, in October this year.
Talking about the new route, Philip Meeson, owner of Jet2 said: “I’m delighted that our customers in the North-West will be able to take advantage of direct flights to Hurghada and the stunning Red Sea coast line. Egypt is an extremely popular destination offering year-round sunshine, dazzling beaches and world-class diving. And since it sits outside the euro-zone, it offers fantastic value to those sun-seekers wanting to stretch their budgets that little bit further.”
Increasingly popular amongst holidaymakers and property owners, Egypt welcomed a 29% increase in tourists in the first quarter of this year and more than one million Britons visited the country in 2009.
Jet2’s pinpointing of Hurghada as a destination is testament to the resort’s growing popularity. More affordable and frequent flights are also great news for Hurghada property owners who can expect a higher return on their investment due to improved accessibility.
