E-statistics to help economic development in Dubai
Highlighting the importance of statistical research and analysis in promoting business, Dubai World said that the Statistics Department, the Group’s consulting arm, will soon introduce new projects such as the E-Statistics Project to enhance its services.
The Electronic Statistics Project has great significance as it is in line with the strategic e-Government policy in Dubai . Statistics has become an integral part of today’s economic development. Statistical indices and indicators are among the most important tools in crucial economic areas like fixing of prices and wages and knowing the general trends in savings, investments and consumption.
Apart from the Dubai World companies, the department provides the same benefits to all other business sectors, public or private, in order to formulate their future strategy.
