Healthcare initiative in Ras Al Khaimah
Elderly Emiratis in Ras Al Khaimah now have access to healthcare services from their own homes. Two specially trained teams will be available in Ras Al Khaimah to assist the elderly and provide them with the necessary healthcare.
The Julfar Medical Centre is behind the programme that aims to provide better services to the elderly covering the medical, social and psychological aspects.
Ministry of Health Primary Health Care Department director Dr Mona Al Kuwari said the initiative to provide home assistance was the first of its kind in the UAE and would be launched in the other emirates later.
