Ras Al Khaimah celebrates UAE National Day

The Civil Aviation Department in Ras Al Khaimah announced a National Identity Programme to mark the UAE 37th National Day.

Shaikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who heads the department, said the programme aims to sponsor social activities. He added that the department will educate the coming generations about the civil aviation services. He said the section has made all the necessary arrangements by coordinating with the Ras Al Khaimah Educational Zone where thousands of school students will take part in the programme.

Shaikh Salem said that live radio and TV competitions on the history of the industry of the civil aviation will be conducted and that the emirate's based travel and tourist agencies will also organise similar activities.
