Dubai Investors Informed of Opportunities in Turkey
At a conference held in Dubai by EFG Istanbul Securities, Dubai investors were informed of the opportunities for investment in Turkey. The conference titled "Opportunities north of the border" proved that foreign investors aim to increase their investments in Turkey.
State Minister Mehmet Simsek began with an opening speech at the conference, hosting 30 guests, including investors that manage portfolio venture capital and investors from real sector.
Dubai investors were informed of the phases Turkey has undergone in the last 10 years and why they should invest in Turkey, said Banu Baþar Çobanoðlu, managing director of EFG Istanbul Securities. “However, Dubai still knows little about Turkey.” Dubai investors are interested in the service sector, food, oil, pharmaceuticals, energy and real estate in Turkey, said Çobanoðlu.
