More Turkish brands join the Turquality program
The Turquality program was launched three years ago as an innovative and unique model to encourage entrepreneurs in Turkey to enter the global market. The aim of the program is to achieve ten global brands within ten years. The program is increasing in popularity with the number of Turkish companies aiming to develop into global brands reaching 55.
The program provides direct financial support for franchising, marketing and advertising expenditures and has been lending support to various sectors including the ready-to-wear sector, industrial machinery and the automotive industry. The Ready-to-wear sector holds the largest share in the project with 33 percent or 18 brands. Turquality has also launched an executive development training program, in collaboration with Koç University.
The companies emerging in the new markets implemented a wide range of investments globally including Europe, the United States, the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates.
