Dubai Select, a company that supplies luxury property in the United Arab Emirates state of Dubai, has been unveiled as one of four finalists at the Fast Growth Business Awards 2007 in the ‘One to Watch’ category. The company, who is run by Stockport-born entrepreneur Mark Stott, is the only North-West based company in this category to reach this stage.
Commenting, Mark Stott, Managing Director, Dubai Select: “To be a finalist in such widely recognised national awards is fantastic. The One to Watch category is particularly exciting as it not only examines what we have achieved to date but also our ambitions for the future. To reach this stage is testament to the commitment of the whole team”.
The short-listing judges were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of entries. Ian Wallis, editor of Growing Business magazine and Growingbusiness.co.uk, comments: “With 350 entries across 14 categories, the competition was fierce. The four finalists of the ‘One to Watch’ category demonstrated strong potential for future growth and success as well as significant achievement to date. These companies are earmarked to be the household names of the future.”
