The Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) will asphalt roads in Kabul, Afghanistan to repair roads that were damaged due to civil war. Turkish President Abdullah Gul in a meeting with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, told him that Turkey would asphalt 100 kilometres of roads in Kabul.
The TIKA Kabul Coordination office also constructed new buildings and renovated the existing ones in Ibn-i Sina Hospital in Kabul. TIKA has coordination offices in 20 countries and operates in many countries across Africa, Asia and Europe, delivering development assistance to countries through its projects and activities.
