As the Middle East continues to play a key role in the financial market, delegates will focus on financial opportunities, entrepreneurship, media and culture in the region.

The event will be held at The Grand Hyatt Hotel on March 11-12 and participants of the event include His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology and Nabil Ali Al Yousuf, Director-General, The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Chairman of the Committee for Wharton Global Alumni Forum, Mohammed Alshaya commented on the event, explaining how it will “serve as a dynamic platform for information exchange and insightful discussions, led by Wharton's distinguished faculty members and the region's business thought-leaders.”

The Forum, which has been going since 1993 has taken place in the world’s most important financial hubs including Shanghai, London, Rio de Janeiro and Paris. The Dubai event is one of three international meetings, the other two of which are held in Beijing and Bogota.
