A careers event being put on by The University of Birmingham has been extremely popular among students.
The education establishment launched its Virtual Recruitment Fair 2013 last week (May 28th) at 10:00 BST.
Since the online event began many university goers have logged on to learn – and apply for – employment opportunities and speak to recruitment experts over the internet.
The university updated its Twitter account yesterday (June 3rd) to provide feedback on the fair to date, saying: “Great attendance so far at The Virtual Recruitment Fair. Don’t miss out!”
Among the university students this event is relevant for are those studying arts and law, engineering and physical sciences, life and environmental sciences, medical and dental sciences, social sciences, sports and teaching.
University attendees are able to log on to search recruitment consultancies, find career advice and information and upload their current CV for recruiters to look at.
The University of Birmingham recommends students take advantage of the fair before it comes to an end this Friday (June 17th) at 17:00.
