The first of a series of Open Days at The University of Liverpool will begin today (June 21st), allowing prospective students to find out more about the higher education establishment and decide whether it is the right university for them.
Four Open Days will be held between now and the autumn, with events scheduled for tomorrow, September 28th and October 12th, as well as today.
A number of talks and activities will be held over the course of these days, with the timetable of events beginning at 09:30 and ending at 15:00 BST.
Students hoping to visit Diagnostic Radiography for medical imaging lab tours, the Management School for business studies talk and interactive activities and the Dentistry, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Veterinary Science departments will have to pre-book a place.
Tickets are advised for those who want to take part in talks, meet academics and students, learn more about student life at The University of Liverpool, visit the library and computing facilities, see the refurbished Sports Centre and take a walking tour of the campus.
School-leavers can also join guided trips around the city if they are unfamiliar with Liverpool to get a taste of what life is like as a student in the north-west centre.
Prospective students booking places for the September or October dates can receive an Open Day information pack by post, which will provide them with a lot more information regarding what they can expect from the day.
Those who decide to put The University of Liverpool as their first choice on their UCAS forms might be interested in staying at Vita Student at The Chapel, a luxury, high-quality set of student apartments that will be ready to move into in September.
